"Friends"

Hey followers, Becca here.

Okay, so recently I broke up with my long term boyfriend Cody. And to be completely honest, I fell out of love with Cody, and it feels like we were just tolerating being together. So when this amazing guy comes along and i find myself falling for him, I realize what I want, no, NEED, for myself. I need a fresh start, i need someone that I'm head over heels for. Christian Scott Gow is the guy i'm truly in love with. I know that. He's in love with me too, and I'm so grateful that he feels the same way as i do. So when I decide that i will do whatever it takes to be with him, i obviously have to break up with Cody, but i didn't want to hurt him and i still wanted to be his friend. All my friends i asked for advice were telling me to stay with cody, but i knew for myself i couldn't do that. So i come back from my annual trip to PA and finally just break up with Cody. And what happens? I get written off and called names by people that supposed to be my friends, just because I finally did something for myself for once. It might seem like a selfish act to hurt Cody for Chris and myself, but for once i finally did something for me after i give and give and give for others. I know i made the right decision despite what anyone else thinks. Christian makes me so much happier than Cody did. And i know there's someone out there so much better for Cody than i am. So if you want to judge me for wanting happiness, then sit back and listen to yourself. And maybe you'll start thinking my thoughts... C'mon! Seriously?!

Sincerely, Happy Becca

Parents and Distrust

Hey peeps, It's me, Becca Penguin <3

Today's Topic: Parents and how they don't trust their kids

Okay, so i know that some kids can't be trusted because they're just kids that don't want to listen to their parents and go rob banks or do drugs. But there are MOST of us who actually know how not to burn the house down! My mom and dad are divorced and when I would be over at my dad's house and he wanted to go over to the neighbor's apartment he would have no problem with leaving me home alone because he knows that I'm not going to invite a whole bunch of people over and have a party. Well my dad lives in Kentucky now and my semi-cool parent is gone. And now I'm stuck with my mother and her dead-beat boyfriend who does NOTHING for our family, and they treat me like I'm five and like I need to be watched 24/7. My brother lives with us and he's always been the favorite of my mother's. So when I was little, my brother would get bad grades, talk back to my mother, cuss, watch horror films, etc. But Now if I even get a f***ing B in  A HIGH SCHOOL COURSE she starts yelling at me and saying I need to go to tutoring... WTF?! But anyways, back to the main subject, I can be trusted because when my mom tells me something I do it (unless it's something I think is stupid, then I refuse and act like a bi***). Unlike my brother who when he was told to babysit me years ago would just leave with his friends and smoke weed around the neighborhood... Besides, I'm almost 14, I can stay home by myself on the weekends, i don't need to be watched under parental supervision constantly.
Ik a lot of you have similar stories and lives and views on this subject. Post a comment below if YOUR reaction is:
C'MON! SERIOUSLY?!

Ipods in School

Hey peoples, Becca here :)

Today's Topic: Ipods in School

I know that we're supposed to be able to focus in school and crap like that, but most of us can't concentrate w/o
something entertaining our sub-concious minds. How many times have your parents said "Turn off the TV! You're doing your homework!"? My guess is a lot. Well if most try to write a petition to our principals to let us watch TV in school, we'll most-likely get shot down for obvious reasons. But if we're allowed to listen to music, I'm sure more people would do their work in class because when you listen to music, it gets you moving. And you would probably end up writing more. Most authors listen to music for inspiration (ex. famous author of The Twilight Saga and The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, Stephenie Meyer). Music gets the creative mind juices flowing and it helps you think better. So for my closing remark on the subject:
We can't bring our Ipods to school because they are considered distractions... C'mon! Seriously?!
